...honori Ammio Manio Caesonio Nicomacho Anicio Paulino v[iro] c[larissimo] consulee ordinario pref[ecto] urbi iud[icandi] sacrar[um] cognit[andi] proconsuli proviciae Asia[e] et Hellesponti vice sacra[rum] iudicanti legato Kartaginis sub pro consule Afric[a]e Anicio Iuliano patre suo cuius providentia adque utilitas et integritas reipublicae corporis coriariorum insulas ad pristinumstatum suum secundum leges principum priorum imp[eratorium] Val[entis] Septimi Severi et M[arci] Aur[elii] Antonini Aug[ustiorum] restaurari adque adornari pervigilantia sua providit in mira memoria adque in omnia iustitia sua corpus coriariorum patrono digno statuerunt.
To the honor of Ammius Manius Caesonius Nicomachus Anicius Paulinus, senator, consul elect, prefect of the city, member of the board for judging sacrifices, proconsul of the province of Asia and the Hellespont in the post of judging rituals , legate to Carthageunder the proconsul of Africa, Anicius Julianus, his father: thanks to his providence, eagerness to make himself useful, upright outlook on behalf of the State, and his incredibly thorough attention to detail, he has restored and adorned the insula of the Guild of Tanners to their original pristine state, according to the regulations of the previous emperors Valens, Septimius Severus, and Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, all August. The Guild of Tanners, in adulatory memory and in all proper justice, has put up this statue to their worthy patron.

Among these properties, the insula of Sertorius is to be the fortunate gain of Aurelia Cyriacis, my daughter: six upper-floor apartments, eleven shop fronts, and one closet under the staircase.
